I have always build my life around the concept of search. Taking as a moment of departure the self-search. The main role of art, if we follow this thread, is to help us find an order and a coherence through animating the thought, creation and all the resonances it grips. Here comes useful the quote from the Russian filmmaker, Andrey Tarkovsky, where he registers that if the world would have been built perfectly there wouldn’t be any place for art. In this light people will not search for oblivion and consolation in art.

My artistic development is interdependently linked with my personal order, something that is impossible to share with somebody. No other force, nothing from outside could dictate me, how I am supposed to be. Nobody could understand which direction I took, what I was actually searching for neither why I was acting in this way. My choice formed my personal taste, the understanding of the inviolability of the roots, the analysis of that life I was seeing around me. My art grew and build its character organically with me. Nonetheless its path is still a mystery-play for me. Painting is a limb of my own persona that fuels from my experience and my way of looking at life. This is why I never defined my art, abstract or realistic, modern or medieval, painting is either there or it is not. Art , spiritual values are indivisible, regardless of the form of expression. This is not just a will of mine of not falling into isms, but a natural deduction that is rooted deep from my spectral evidence. Systems are made to fall and bridges are made to be crushed. This is why when a see a prodigy of an master like Rembrandt, I don’t see Baroque, or 17C, I see art.
